Learn the fundamentals of mosaic tile work while creating a functional, one-of-a-kind table. This two-day class combines creative design with hands-on tiling techniques, guiding you through the process from start to finish.
Day 1: (Jun. 6 from 10 AM – 1 PM)
Participants will design their own mosaic table and learn the basics of mosaic tiling. Instruction covers layout planning, tile cutting, and setting techniques as you begin building your table surface. You will also learn how to properly prepare and seal the surface to ensure durability.
Day 2: (Jun. 7 from 10 AM – 1 PM)
Complete your project. Participants will grout their tables, refine details, and apply finishing techniques to protect and enhance the final piece. By the end of the class, you will leave with a completed mosaic tiled table and the skills to apply mosaic techniques to future projects.
